Interfaith Alliance Indianapolis

invites you to an

Interfaith Seder

March 31, 2008

6:30 p.m. - 9:30 pm

$15 per person

Beth-El Zedeck

600 W. 70th St.

Indianapolis, IN 46260

You are invited to join the congregations of the Interfaith Alliance Indianapolis (Baha'i, Buddhist, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Protestant, Sikh and Unitarian Universalist) for a Passover seder. The seder is a special meal which initiates the Jewish festival of Passover. The narrative text of the Haggadah explains the various symbolic foods of the seder. Rabbi Dennis Sasso and Cantor Giora Sharon will lead the seder and chant while explaining the rituals of Passover. A full, traditional Passover dinner will be served.

IAI strives to promote better understanding of our individual faiths and also encourages joint endeavors such as this 23rd annual interfaith Seder. There will be ample opportunity for discussion and for questions during the Seder.

Reservations are limited to 225. So you are not disappointed, we strongly suggest early registration as our capacity has been reached well before the deadline the last few years.

Your check is your receipt and must accompany the reservation form. Please indicate on the form what you want us to do if it is received after all the seats have been filled.

If you make a reservation and find you cannot attend, please call and cancel so someone else can have the chance to participate.

If you are on the waiting list, we will call if there is a cancellation. Please note that this may be the day of the Seder. Please arrive by 6:00 pm to allow for check-in and seating. There will be no assigned or reserved seating. Children are welcome to attend this seder experience.

If you have any questions, please call Sharon Mishkin

In previous years, last-minute cancellations and "no-shows" have caused serious logistical problems resulting in wasted meals and empty seats while still having a waiting list.  In order to avert this situation, you MUST provide a name for each attendee on your reservation list and a contact telephone number for your group. We will no longer be able to accept a request for "10 seats" unless we have 10 names accompanying  the request. If you require additional registration forms, go to the Seder page on our web site at www.interfaithindy.org .
